Mae Wilson — Calling English

Mae Wilson (she/they) is a caller and English dance teacher currently based in Ann Arbor, MI. Mae has danced and called across the country and across the Pond. She loves the textures of English dance and music.

Calluna — Contra band

Calluna is a trad trio based in Massachusetts that plays driving dance tunes from an Irish contemporary repertoire: Gus Cantieni (tenor banjo, mandolin), Eileen O’Grady (fiddle), and Jesse Ball (guitar, piano, feet).

Melusine — English band

Hailing from Western MA, Melusine (Kristen Planeaux, piano; Sarah-Hadley Yakir, violin; and Eleanor Lincoln, violin/viola) bring lush string harmonies and driving grooves to the English country dance repertoire.

Mo Brachfeld — Percussive Dance workshop

DJ Lapis & DJAred — Friday night techno contra

DJ Lapis (Talya Raitzyk) brings the euphoric energy of old school and modern house and club music to the contra dance floor, spinning live to fit each dance. DJAred (Jared Kirkpatrick) runs beat-synced live lighting to complement the music. Together they create an immersive techno contra experience.
